“Our early prototypes of Treed used the DesignBoost icons heavily. Also, we continue to use the PSD mockup tools to flush out new ideas and designs. Currently, we’re using the “How to Make Your First iPhone App” PDF to hone our marketing, as well as plan our next app.”
Eric Prive, entrepreneur
“DesignBoost made me even more aware that design in apps is crucial. Too many medical apps have a lousy design and with the high quality training and insights we got from DesignBoost we created our iP Voiding Diary.”
Tac Leung, developer
“I have been using your PSD templates since v1 (I switched over from Tehan + Lax) before you rebranded as DesignBoost. I have designed, product managed and launched over 10 apps for clients with these. I particulalry like how you give well executed ideas of how to skin applications so they look different than the standard iOS interface while retaining a sense of polish and sophistication.”
Hey y’all it’s me Jen :) founder, designer and teacher here at DesignBoost. Teaching design to developers, entrepreneurs and people new to design is my full-time job. I love design and I love helping others become better designers.
My design career began at Yahoo! where I created ad campaigns and landing pages for lots of big name companies. From there I worked at WebMD and then begain a busy freelance career. Four years ago I began writing about how I design mobile apps for Smashing Magazine, MobileTUTS and other design magazines. People took an interest, so I started writing more, and creating classes. That was the beginning of DesignBoost.
